Skinny Puppy

This was the third time this year Skinny Puppy played in SoCal and I have been fortunate to be asked to shoot all three shows. This was the last date of the current tour, and with Front Line Assembly opening the show it was a banner day for industrial music fans. Now Skippy Puppy will make a photographer work for a good shot, dark stage, minimal lighting etc. But the results are always worth it, and their lighting director seems to know how to cast just the right light for a good picture. As with every SP show lead singer Ogre seems to enjoy spitting stage blood on the photographers in the the pit. And tonight as a special treat he decided to spit chewed up dog food at us (don't freak, I'm sure it was vegan ) Anyway if you can't handle this kind of thing you have no business being in the pit at a SP show because it seems to happen every time.
