I sometimes get so busy with shooting concerts that I occasionally forget to post some photos here on the blog. Anyway I just came across these pictures of Uli Jon Roth that I quite like, mostly because they remind me of the AWESOME concert he put on during the NAAM convention earlier this year. If you don't know Uli's history he was a founding member of the Scorpions and recorded some of the best heavy metal/rock music of all time. His guitar technique is so good and so fluid that it can leave you breathless.
If I remember correctly I shot these with a 17mm-50mm 2.8 lens, the lighting was pretty good and I only wish you could have been there to hear a master at his craft. I did find a great video taken from the audience that night so give it a view.
